Questions to ask before hair transplant surgery: surgeon credentials, technique, follow-up, red flag answers and what the response reveals.
Twelve questions — and what the answers should sound like
Surgeon and credentials
"Do you personally perform extraction and implantation?" — The surgeon should confirm personal performance of every critical step, without evasion.
"Are you a FUE Europe member?" — This should be independently verifiable. Request the membership number and check it yourself.
"How many personal cases have you performed?" — 1,000+ is a reasonable threshold. 4,000+ represents genuine clinical depth.
Clinical protocol
"How many patients do you treat per surgical day?" — One. The answer to this question alone reveals the operating model.
"What is your average graft survival rate?" — 90–97% in documented quality practices. Vague answers or "guarantees" without data are warning signs.
"Which technique do you recommend for my case and why?" — The answer should reference your specific hair type, Norwood stage and donor characteristics.
Package and follow-up
"Is the quoted price the final all-inclusive price?" — Yes, with a specific itemised breakdown of what is included.
"What does the 12-month follow-up include?" — Monthly photograph review, direct access to the treating surgeon, included in the package price.

Red flag answers — walk away from these
- Unverifiable or evasive answers about surgeon credentials
- Vague response to "who personally performs the surgery"
- "Unlimited grafts" offers — biologically impossible at quality standards
- Countdown offers or booking pressure tactics
- Before/after gallery without dateable cases or technique documentation
- No 12-month follow-up included in the package

Hairmedico all-inclusive: price on request for 2,000–3,500 grafts including surgery, 5-star hotel, transfers, PRP and 12-month follow-up.

Desk work: 5–7 days. Scabs shed by Day 10–14. New growth from months 3–5. Final result months 12–14.
Who performs surgery at Hairmedico?
Dr. Arslan Musbeh personally performs every extraction and canal-opening. In VIP he also places every graft himself; in Silver and Gold, his trained team places the grafts under his direct supervision. One patient per day.
Is Turkey safe for hair transplant?
Yes, with an accredited surgeon-led clinic. Verify FUE Europe membership, Ministry of Health registration, and confirm the surgeon personally operates.
