How blood supply is restored to transplanted follicles after hair transplant — the biology that determines graft survival.
How transplanted follicles restore blood supply
When a follicle is extracted, its blood supply is severed. It must survive on stored nutrients until revascularisation occurs in the recipient zone. This process happens in two stages: plasmatic imbibition (Days 1–3) — passive nutrient absorption from surrounding tissue fluid; and angiogenesis (Days 4–14) — new capillaries grow into the implanted graft. By Day 10–14, the graft has a functional new blood supply.

Why the first 10 days are clinically critical
Mechanical displacement: A dislodged graft before capillary integration is permanently lost. It cannot be reinserted.
Dehydration: The follicle requires a moist environment for plasmatic imbibition. The isotonic misting spray in the Hairmedico aftercare kit maintains this environment.
Vasoconstriction from nicotine: Smoking reduces blood vessel diameter, slowing capillary ingrowth and measurably reducing graft survival. Stop 2 weeks before, no smoking for 4 weeks after surgery.
How Hairmedico optimises microvascular healing
The Hairmedico post-operative protocol addresses each factor: isotonic misting, elevated sleeping, anti-inflammatory medication, LOREW Paris healing protocol, and the sapphire blade sizing that produces precise channels matching graft diameter — maximising graft stability during the critical revascularisation window.

Common questions
How much does a hair transplant cost in Turkey?
Hairmedico all-inclusive: price on request for 2,000–3,500 grafts including surgery, 5-star hotel, transfers, PRP and 12-month follow-up.
Is hair transplant permanent?
Yes. Transplanted follicles are DHT-resistant and grow permanently for the patient's lifetime.
What is the recovery time?
Desk work: 5–7 days. Scabs shed by Day 10–14. New growth from months 3–5. Final result months 12–14.
Who performs surgery at Hairmedico?
Dr. Arslan Musbeh personally performs every extraction and canal-opening. In VIP he also places every graft himself; in Silver and Gold, his trained team places the grafts under his direct supervision. One patient per day.
Is Turkey safe for hair transplant?
Yes, with an accredited surgeon-led clinic. Verify FUE Europe membership, Ministry of Health registration, and confirm the surgeon personally operates.
