Why results take 12–14 months — the biology
Hair transplant results develop over 12–14 months because of the hair growth cycle. After surgery, transplanted follicles enter telogen (resting phase) — producing the shock loss that alarms patients at weeks 2–5. The dormant period lasts through month 3.
