What Is a Beard Transplant?
A beard transplant uses FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) — the same technique as scalp hair transplant surgery. Individual follicular units are extracted from the donor zone (typically the back of the scalp) and implanted into the beard area at the precise angle, depth and direction required to create natural-looking density.
Beard FUE requires especially fine control over implantation angle. Beard hairs grow at very shallow angles (30–45°), significantly flatter than scalp hair. The angle of each implanted graft determines whether the result looks natural or artificial — which is why Dr. Arslan Musbeh personally performs every step in the VIP package — extraction, channel-opening and setting every graft; in Gold he personally performs the consultation and channel-opening; in Silver his clinical team carries out the procedure.
